ABOUT ME
Hey! I am Katy, a 20 year old actress living in London. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my site - very cool of you! So a little bit about me...I grew up in lovely Lincolnshire with my mum who raised me as a single parent and funded my early dabbling in the arts. From tap dance to acting festivals, she was there. Front row to cheer me on. I used to rope my friends and family in to watch shows that I would create and star in (so really, it was inevitable from day dot that I would become a performer). You'd always find little kins with a microphone in hand or a stage under her feet, which has always carried me through to present day. I vividly remember my mum taking me to London to watch the Lion King, my first West End show. I was blown away by the production and how such a familiar story could be told in such an imaginative way. It was magic to me. This sums up what the arts mean to me. Magic. Being able to create, tell, invoke, portray, embody, live, and breathe a certain magic that is utterly captivating to witness. I believe so strongly that every young person should have the chance to uncover the magic of the arts, and if little kins could see me living her 6 year old dream right now... well she'd have probably sat and written a song about it!!

Aside from acting, which takes up a large portion of my life; I enjoy long distance running and recently ran the London Landmark Half Marathon for an amazing youth performing arts charity in North London called Wac Arts. I have spent quite a few years as an assistant performing arts teacher in Hertfordshire and have always found it inspiring to watch young creatives learn and grow. I also spend time training in dance and martial arts, which I take regular classes in. I love yoga, fashion, animals, indie music, writing poetry, learning French, and adding line drawings to my wall of art in my bedroom. My dream (not including featuring in a period drama, performing at the RSC or winning an Oscar for best actress) is to travel more in the coming years. I want to visit Canada, tour Asia, and see Italy and the Grecian Islands. I am also an avid vegan baker, and have been since I went fully plant powered back in September 2020 after moving to London. I personally think that I make the best Vegan cookies out there, and my mum will add to that with her trademark vegan afternoon tea sample that she has been curating over the past few months.

So this is me! I hope you enjoy taking a look into my world and what I have managed to accomplish so far in my career. This Industry is a tough one, and I have never shied away from that. I enjoy my work, it challenges my creativity and pushes me to reach new milestones. I welcome exciting opportunities with open arms and will work hard to bring visions to life. I am a confident, professional and positivity powerhouse. I believe in myself and my potential to succeed tenfold, and with microphone in hand and stage under my feet, I will keep showcasing my version of this beautiful art form to anyone who will listen.
